Crossing the entire continent, the transcontinental Canadian railway connected Halifax Nova Scotia on the Atlantic coast to Squamish British Columbia (near Vancouver) on the Pacific. The tour ends at the driving of the last spike in Craigellachie British Columbia and shows William Van Horne&#039;s telegram to John A. MacDonald announcing the completion of the railroad.<br />
